VennPT, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) takes the privacy of patient and organizational users and their data seriously. This policy stands to explain ways in which online information is used and collected for the benefit of the creators of the Service (i.e., the Company), and their users. This notice will remain accessible on the homepage of VennPT.com.
In order to create a patient user account with the VennPT App, either the web or mobile version (“Service”), an email address and a first and last name is collected. Additionally, if a user is an organizational members, the organization’s name will also be collected. In order to receive an electronic version of the workout created, a patient must provide an email address or mobile number at which they would like to receive the link to their workout. If a patient user chooses not to provide an email address or mobile number, the patient can still receive access to said workout via printed worksheet from the clinic. If authorized by the user, the Service permits recording of videos for use within the Service. If a new video is recorded for use within the Service, the likeness of the subject of the video will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the authorization provided by the user.
The Company does not share information gathered with any service or party beyond the scope of the user’s authorization . If an email is submitted to the Company in the instance of a support or technical inquiry, we will not share that information with any outside parties unless it is directly required to adequately serve the request of the user.
The Company never uses, distributes, or sells any information that would be personally identifiable in ways unrelated to those stated previously in “Using Information” without notifying a user and requesting authorization to do so.
The Company uses third party tracking services, as do most websites. Certain information such as internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date and time stamps, and clickstream data is gathered automatically and stored in log files. This data is automatically connected to other information that has been gathered.
The Company uses Local Storage Objects (LSOs) such as HTML5 [content information and preferences] to store the application’s state. For example, when creating a workout on the website, the Company stores the information that has been input until the workout is sent.
Consistent with the scope of the user’s authorization, the Company may occasionally sendnotifications pertaining to the Service, including but not limited to password reset notifications, service downtime notices, or responses to support emails. If you do not wish to receive these notifications, you may unsubscribe at any time.
The Company uses a third party service provider to send system-generated emails and/or SMS messages to users and patients (on behalf of users when sending patient workouts). When signing up for the Service, we will share your personally identifiable information with said third party only to the extent required for them to provide the service.
The Company reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law if we believe that disclosing such information is needed to protect the rights of the Company and/or its users or the safety of users of the Service.
Keeping user data secure is very important to the Company. We adhere to widely accepted industry standards to keep data submitted to us and maintained by us, secure. As no method of data transmission over the internet is absolutely secure, we cannot guarantee 100% security of said data.
